Everything You Need to Know about KSCF

Kenya Students Christian Fellowship was constituted on 16th October 1959 as an inter-denominational organization to bring together all students’ Christian Unions or similar groups working in secondary schools and certificate colleges in Kenya. The aims and objectives of the fellowship are non-profitable and non-political. The Fellowship renders service to students and associates.

Our commitment is to offer all of this without ever outsourcing any of our operation overseas. Creating real careers for people in the US is extremely important to us.

Joseph Odingo
General Secretary

Mr. Joseph Odingo is a minister of the youth in high school and in colleges on current moral dilemmas facing the youths (including negative media, teenage sex, effects of pornography, drug abuse, gaysm, abortion among others.
He has worked with the Africa Inland Church (A.I.C), Nairobi Training Centre as the principal for a period of over 10 years. He has also worked with Kenya Students' Christian Fellowship as Greater Nairobi chairperson, The National Treasurer and vice chairman where he gained practical experience with the youths in Kenya. He holds a degree in leadership and Management from PAC University. He is married to Beatrice Odima and has four children. He is the current K.S.C.F General Secretary.

He is an accountant by profession. Before joining KSCF in the year 2012 as the Accounts Assistant, he was working with MACLY in the accounts department. His passion is prayer and intercessory.

Emma Akinyi

Mrs. Emmalynn Akinyi Akumu is a Certified Public Accountant (K) knowledgeable in both Accounting and Auditing. She has worked in various fields and held various positions.

She carries with her a wealth of experience in Accounting & Finance and prior to joining KSCF in 2013 as the Finance & Administration Coordinator she worked with the World Council of Credit Union (USDA project). Emma is married and a mother of three children.

Peter Nderitu
Communication Officer

Peter is currently serving God at KSCF as the Communications & Partnerships Coordinator. He has a passion for young people and a speaker on the dilemmas facing young people especially on Social Media, Drugs, Peer pressure and self-esteem. He holds a bachelor’s degree in ICT Management from Maseno University. He also holds an advanced Diploma in Information Technology and currently.

He is pursuing a Diploma in Divinity with CLI, USA. He is a member of KSCF National Material Development Taskforce (MTF) since 2015 Peter is married to Stella Wamaitha, and they are blessed with two children, Keziah and Raphael.

Elizabeth Masali
Research Assistant

Elizabeth is a graduate with journalistic expertise from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. She majored in broadcast and public relations and hence she is very comfortable with the media technology revolution.

She is currently pursuing a Master degree in Communications. She is currently serving at Kenya students’ Christian Fellowship as the Research Assistant with an aim writing a book that glorifies the impact KSCF has on an individual and society.

Gladys Mukami

Gladys is currently serving God in KSCF as the National Field Coordinator. She has passion for the Transformation of the youth in this, and coming Generations.The zeal is for having the young people living for God and to be used by God in Church and Society.

She has studied in Sales and Marketing and Worked with various marketing firms, Through the Call of God, she served as a volunteer in KSCF before serving as the School Ministry Facilitator as the Regional Travelling Secretary for KSCF Greater Nairobi Region that covers Nairobi, Kiambu, Nyandarua and Kajiado, between 2014 – 2020. She holds a diploma from the Jerry Savelle Ministry International Bible Schools.

Carol Ntamburi Ntamburi
Exec Member

She is born Again and God fearing. She is a teacher by profession and divinely positioned to influence the next generation for God's kingdom. She is the Christian Union Patron, HOD Careers, counselor and instructor at Moi Girls Isinya, Kajiado. She is the head of the P2P students program in the KSCF MTF and an executive member.

Jacob Mwangi
Exec Member

He is born again with a Master of Education (Educational Administration), from University of Nairobi, Bachelor of Education (Science), from Kenyatta University, and Diploma in Educational Management, by Kenya Education Management Institute. He has taught in public secondary schools for many years, but is currently teaching mathematics and physics in Nyandarua Institute of Science and Technology. He has served as Kenya students’ Christian fellowship chairman of Nyandarua County and Naivasha Sub-county. Is currently the chairman of Kenya Students’ Christian Fellowship, Greater Nairobi Region. Is also elected council member, member of KSCF national executive, chairman of KSCF national convention committee, and member of the KSCF national Peer to Peer (P2P) Material Development Taskforce (MTF). He is married to one wife (Rose Wanjiru), and blessed with three boys.
